Well, it’s overcast in San Antonio this morning, but it was a balmy 85 yesterday so there is hope for tomorrow.  We are forced to say goodbye to another favorite restaurant on Orcas–RIP Portofinos.  You will be missed.  big ditto on the hand-scooped shakes of Vern’s Bayside.  Times have been tough, but the light is showing at the end of the tunnel.  It is going to be a good summer!

Line drive by ichiro caught in the air by the first baseman and he’s out. Base hit for Figgins. Lefty Milton Bradley up, ball got away from the catcher and Figgins steals second. Bradley walks. Adam Kennedy is next on the roster. Kennedy walks and it’s bases loaded, 1 out. Miguel Olivo is next, batting some clean up. And its a base hit up the middle with 2 runs scored. Tuiasosopo hits a grounder RBI and Josh Wilson is out but gets an RBI. Josh Bard is last in the lineup with 2 outs on the board and he strikes out. Mariners 4, Dodgers 0. Go Mariners! And that’s just the first inning!
